In this show Daniel was away so Maria shared about Purim and the book of Esther. There are some people who have tried to suggest that the book of Esther should not be in the Bible because they say that the name of our Creator is not mentioned in there even once. But did you know that the name of our Creator the “I AM” (HaYah) is encoded in the book of Esther 19 times? Yes it is! The same name that he revealed to Mosheh at the burning bush in Exodus 3:14-15 is “I am that I am” or “I will be who I will be” or “He who causes to exist.” This name is listed in the Hebrew Strong’s Concordance as “HaYah” which is # 1961, and it also means “to be, to exist, to breathe, to cause to exist.” That name HaYaH is seen 19 times in the book of Esther! In the book of Esther, every time you see the phrase “and it came to pass” that phrase is #1961 “he who causes to be.” What this means is that HaYah (I AM) caused the Book of Esther to exist! Esther’s name means “hidden” and it also means “star.” She is a picture of how the Messiah remains hidden until the appointed time and then he reveals himself as the bright & morning star! Esther went into the Persian Empire under a “hidden name” and so did our Messiah go into the Gentile nations under a “hidden name” in order to save his own people Yisra’el. In the book of Revelation, our Messiah called himself the “Alpha & Omega” which means “the first and last letter of the Greek Alphabet.” But in Hebrew he is called “the Alef & Taw” (the first and the last letter of the Hebrew Alphabet). In the book of Esther in the Paleo Hebrew Pictographs is encoded the “Alef & Taw” (a picture of the Red Heifer being sacrificed on Two Sticks or the cross), and this symbol appears 81 times in the book of Esther! This means that the Father has revealed himself in the book of Esther as “HaYah” 19 times and the Messiah has revealed himself in the book of Esther 81 times! In this episode of “Shema AM” Maria did the show by herself since Daniel was away and she explained the difference between when YaHuW’shuwa Messiah says “it is written” and “you have heard it said.” Some people have erroneously concluded that the “eye for eye, tooth for tooth” commandment in the Torah was all about seeking revenge and being spiteful, but Maria clears up the confusion over this as she explains that the Torah provides Laws of fairness and restitution. In this episode, Maria did a teaching from the “two or three witnesses” scripture seen in Luke 24:44 & 2nd Timothy 3:16. We are told by our Messiah that a matter is established “out of the mouth of two or three witnesses” (Matthew 18:16) What are these two or three witnesses that we must consult when teaching doctrine? Law, Prophets & Psalms, in Hebrew is called “Towrah, Nabiym & Ketuwbiym” which has an acronym of: TaNaKh. Often times, people try to use one verse of Paul’s Epistles to establish doctrine, but this is not the sound “hermeneutics.” One such topic topic that people are often taking out of context has to do with “women teaching” or “women keeping silence in the assemblies.” Contrary to what many have been falsely taught to be believe, YaHuWaH is not against women teaching or prophesying in the Assembly. Once you hear the historical background and the original language of the text, you will never again be confused about Sha’uwl (Paul)’s Letter concerning the role of women in 1st Corinthians 14:34-36 or 1st Timothy 2:12.

Maria shared from Revelation 2:10 where the Congregation at Smyrna is told by Messiah that they will have “ten days of tribulation.” The Hebrew word for “awe” means “tribulation” and “sister rivalry”! Rebekah was asked to stay “ten days” before going to meet her bridegroom Isaac, but she did not want to wait 10 days. She wanted to “go meet the bridegroom!” This is a prophetic picture of “the five wise virgins” out of the “ten virgins” during these ten days between the Feast of Trumpets & the Day of Atonement. YaHuW’shuwa Messiah will gather two brides prophetically typified in Leah & Rachel. These 10 days are a period of repentance for the bride has made herself ready! In this episode, Mark Ciasullo & Maria Merola discussed the origins of “Dispensationalism” and how it began only 200 years ago and is being taught in all of the seminaries and Bible Colleges. Dispensationalism seeks to divide born-again believers within modern-day Christianity from Yisra’el, thereby confusing the identities of both of these groups. Today, most people think that Yisra’el are only the Jews who live in the modern state of Yisra’el, and they think that born-again believers are “Gentiles.” What most people do not realize is that there are “Two Houses of Yisra’el” that are being brought together in these last days (Ephrayim & Judah). Dispensationalism causes people to think of the “elect” that are within the Christian Church & Yisra’el as two completely separate entities, thereby making it virtually impossible for these two groups to come into their true identity as Yisra’elites. Marcione was a theologian in the 2nd Century who taught a heresy called “Gnosticism” which denies that our Messiah YaHuW’shuwa “is come in the flesh.” Marcione taught a heresy that says: “the god of the Old Testament was evil while the god of the New Testament was good.” Gnosticism also purports that “Lucifer and Jesus are the same being” and that Lucifer was the “god” of the Old Testament and therefore the Mosaic Law (Towrah) of our Creator YaHuWaH is evil and wicked. Marcione also taught that the “New Testament Scriptures” are all that is needed and that the “Old Testament scriptures were nailed to the cross.” This doctrine today permeates the modern-day Christian Church and it has caused a “Great Falling Away.” Hyper-Calvinism is also another “doctrine of devils” that teaches “once saved always saved” or what we commonly call “cheap grace.” This doctrine purports that one can never lose their salvation no matter how much one sins. But we see a completely different picture in the scriptures. We find out that it is possible to have one’s name blotted out of “The Book of Life” after having it in there!

Revelation 3:5 He that overcomes, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
